During 1-year construction and 3-month test run, the WHR oversea project of Sinoma-EC which signed with SCG Group in Thailand that passed performance guarantee successfully. The average generations reach 8840kW that far beyond the assessment index, and the self consumption rate is also reach the requirement of design index.

On January 15th 2007, Sinoma-EC had signed the EPC contract with Siam Cement Company for low-temperature waste heat power generation project of 3 clinker production lines. This contract is the first time that our country self-development pure low temperature waste heat power generation technology and equipment expert overseas. The success of WHR system combined to the grid that shows a start of new era of Sinoma-EC to develop his low-temperature waste heat power generation technology and equipment in international market. On June 16th 2008, TS plant held the project completion ceremony with ceremonious dignity. SCG spoke a highly of this project that well performance index and appreciate its great stability.

With the continual innovation of many years, Sinoma-EC can choose the best thermodynamic system reasonably as per the quality and quantity of waste heat resources, temperature and operation condition of cooler and preheater to ensure the best combination of waste heat recovery and industrial production and provide SCG TS plant with the technical proposal of WHR with best performance cost to realize the maximum utilization of the waste heat.

Although this is the first time in China that introduce made-in-china WHR system to foreign country , from the establishment of technical proposal to the taking over of the work, everything is going systematically. The management and technical team of Sinoma-EC has proved their profound ability thought the longtime experience and technical accumulation in the overseas market.

In order to actively respond to the resources comprehensive utilization policy advocated by the government, Sinoma-EC independently developed resource comprehensive utilization power generation technique and equipments. As the navigator of the waste heat power generation industrial, Sinoma-EC started from reutilization of exhaust gas and waste heat in cement industrial and experienced three steps of hollow kiln waste heat power generation, supplemental burning waste heat power generation and pure low temperature waste heat generation. After more than 20 years of technical research and practical application in waste heat power generation, presently it has already achieved great success in the aspect of waste heat recovery in the industries of cement, steel, chemical, metallurgy and so on. Having the outstanding achievement of more than 150 cases of WHR power generation design, R&D, engineering suspension and EPC, moreover, it is the first company that exports the pure low temperature waste heat power generation technology and equipment with self-owned intellectual property to foreign counties.

SCG Group is the one of Thailand leading producers of cement and aggregates. His production capacity is almost 24million ton per year, and it becomes the largest cement supplier of the Thailand. They are renowned for their 10,000t/d clinker production line and their management ability and technology. Sinoma-EC won the bidding of 3 clinker production line from SCG that is fully embodying the technology and management ability of Sinoma-EC.

The success of the first contract that exports the pure low temperature waste heat power generation technology and equipment with self-owned intellectual property to foreign counties, which has a far-reaching significance. Such as the president of Sinoma Group Mr. Tan Zhongming said: ‘I have strong reason to believe that alone with this first export project of pure low temperature waste heat power generation technology and equipment with self-owned intellectual property to Thailand which will promote Chinese cement industry to the new height of outstanding achievement in circular economy and sustainable development, and share with international cement industrial practitioners.’

Mr.Zhang Qi, Excutive Vice President Mr.Zhang Fu, the vice-president Mr.Ge Liwu and Mr. Wei Wenhua, the president of SCG Mr. Pramote Techasupatkul and the senior management of SCG Cement business and plants attended the project completion ceremony for WHR power plant.
